Hello and welcome to the phenomenon of eBay!
About five years ago I began my start on eBay, first just browsing and making a few
bids on things I wanted to buy. I designed and made my own cigar box purses and wanted another venue for selling besides craft shows and retail locations. Soon I began adding other merchandise and was thrilled when a vintage hat I purchased at a rummage sale for seventy-five cents sold for over eighty dollars! I was hooked! In the past few years I have made wonderful friendships with other sellers and buyers and even met a few at my first eBay Live Conference in sunny Las Vegas.
I became a Powerseller and trading assistant and after working for someone else for twenty years, having my own business has been both challenging and very rewarding. I began teaching seminars at the job center of a local community college and am now an Education Specialist Trained by eBay.
That's me in the shades in the 2007 McHenry Fiesta Days parade with our Curious Hound float. We got a great response and had a lot of fun. It just goes to show you that wherever you're from - everybody knows eBay!!
